Youth Participation Mobility

Location: Thessaloniki, Greece

The #YOUthDecideHackathon in Thessaloniki, Greece, is an innovative civic youth hackathon designed to enhance the EU Youth Dialogue through participatory and evidence-based policymaking. Bringing together 80 participants (15 from Portugal, 15 from Serbia, and 50 from Greece, including 19 decision-makers), the event aims to empower young people to shape the future of Europe by fostering civic engagement and democratic participation.

During this 4-day workshop, participants will engage in a youth-centered and action-oriented training pathway, followed by the hackathon where they will network, share knowledge, and debate opportunities and challenges facing Europe. The event will culminate in actionable proposals and recommendations for youth policy, emphasizing practical and theoretical development. The final output will include a video collage showcasing highlights from the hackathon, providing a dynamic view of the event’s key moments and participant experiences.
